Our Renovation

Having recently undergone extensive renovations, The Yew Tree Inn seamlessly blends historic charm with modern comforts. Our refurbished interiors provide a cozy retreat, complete with a roaring log fire for those chilly days. In warmer months, our inviting frontage with benches offers an ideal setting to bask in the sun while enjoying picturesque views of the surrounding countryside.

Our diverse menu caters to all tastes and occasions:

• Pie Nights: Join us every Wednesday for a selection of hearty, homemade pies that showcase traditional British flavors.
• Fish and Chips Fridays: Indulge in our signature Butty Beer Battered Fish and Chips, a classic favorite served every Friday evening.
• Proper Pub Grub: Throughout the week, we offer a variety of pub classics, including scampi, pasta dishes, and our popular pizzas. Each meal is crafted with care, ensuring a satisfying dining experience.
• Sunday Roasts: Savor our traditional Sunday roasts, featuring a selection of meats, seasonal vegetables, and all the trimmings. Served from 12:30 pm to 2:30 pm, it's the perfect way to round off your weekend.

Meet Meeka

No visit to The Yew Tree Inn is complete without saying hello to Meeka, our resident canine companion. A 7-year-old Collie/Spaniel cross, Meeka is a gentle and affectionate presence in our pub. She loves water and, while initially shy, warms up quickly to friendly faces and enjoys a good fuss.
